About The Band

The Tropics are a San Francisco band made up of bay area transplants. After forming if late 2012, The Tropics have crafted their sound and live presence incorporating big guitars, bouncy keys, and soaring vocals. They recently finished recording their debut EP at Different Studios and are planning a release for later this year. After releasing their first single ‘Sleepless’ in May, The Tropics are looking forward to playing across the west coast and turning new fans on to their unique sound.
