About The Band

William Ryan Fritch is a composer, songwriter, and producer based in the San Francisco Bay Area. His compositions are characterized by his unique range as a multi-instrumentalist and audio engineer, allowing him to realize large ensemble arrangements found in Folk, Rock, World and Orchestral music as a solo endeavor. Since 2008, he has scored and or contributed music to over 40 films (both narrative and documentary), including several which have been awarded by respected international film festivals such as Cannes, SXSW, Tribeca, Berlin, United Nations and Sundance.  Besides his work in film composition, Fritch records and releases music under his own name and under the moniker Vieo Abiungo through several labels (Lost Tribe Sound, Asthmatic Kitty, Circle into Square). In 2011 he released And The World is Still Yawning, which was on a number of critics Best of 2011 shortlists.
